  My blog is all about the movie “get rich or die tryin”. This movie is an American Crime Drama Film starring the American rapper 50 Cent. This film is an autobiographical film account of 50 Cent's own life and it was directed by 6-time Academy Award-nominee Jim Sheridan. The story is all about Marcus (50cent) is a quiet young boy who adores his loving mother, and her mother is a local drug dealer. Her mother often leave Marcus to his grandparents to be looked after while she takes care of her business. But after she is murdered by his crew, Marcus choose to be a drug dealer like her mother and his life changed. He is living with his grandparents full time and his grandparents have many children too so he finds his life less appealing as his grandfather works long hours to support the large family. As he grows older, he enters the drug game by himself, buying new clothing and even a gun. Eventually he abandons high school to sell drugs for his big bosses. But the other boss “Majestic” have a plan to become a major drug lord by himself. Years later, after he reunites with his childhood sweetheart, he got caught by a police with his drugs and he is thrown in jail. When he is in jail, he befriends by his fellow inmate named “Bama”. When Marcus is in the jail, he is rapping with Bama, so when they get out of the jail Marcus decided to leave the drug game behind, in order to pursue and fulfill his lifelong dream to become a rap-star and entertainer by calling himself Young Caesar with his Manager and Producer Bama. Unfortunately, he and his drug crew end up robbing a local shop, and Majestic doesn't want to let him go resulting in a tragedy that might have destroyed his life forever. After they robbed the local shop, his associate Justice who secretly works for Majestic, tries to kill him and he shot Marcus nine times in the body. But Justice failed to kill Marcus and Majestic brutally murdered Justice with a sword cane because of what he did. Marcus did not die because his neighborhood brought him to the hospital quickly. Months later, he recovers to the bullets, Marcus is preparing for his first concert and begin his career of becoming top-notch and real entertainer. In the moments before the show, Majestic’s crew go to his locker room, but Majestic tell Marcus the truth that he murder his mother. The two crew was fighting inside the locker room and Marcus crew has won. As Marcus walks out towards the crowd he stops as he hear a lone gunshot in the locker room behind him because his manager kill Majestic. As Marcus steps onto the stage to perform for the waiting crowd, he removes the bulletproof vest he had on, showing he was no longer afraid to be who he was meant to be. I like this movie because it based on true story and I like the actors. I like 50cent because he is a good rapper and I love his songs too.
