Being a Christian: A relation between God, You and Sins
Most
of us reads the bible but most of us are not aware about some of the verses
which has differ meaning and probably has self-impact. Basically, some read the
bible just for entertainment; some read it for history reference. Well,
defining each contents of the bible, it is clearly un-understandable or should
I say it is really tough to understand with only limited knowledge. Now, most
of us know that the bible is a key on order for us to know ones-self, a key in
order for us to know more about God, a key in order for us to become a true
Christian. I will give some brief history of my life. I was born and raised as
a roman catholic, both mom and dad are catholic which means all of our family
and some relatives are catholic. It started at the year 2012 when one of my
cousins became a born-again hristian, knowing the fact that he was converted
into a born-again. That cousin of mine approach me, he teaches me various
topics about God, how to repent how to become a true christian, at first, it
was weird because I do not care about that kind of thing the only thing I know
is that when we die we will immediately enter heaven. We talk and talk until he
finally gets me. That’s the point where I also converted to be a born-again.
Now, going back to the topic, many people thinks that if you die you will
immediately enter heaven but they are wrong. According to the bible verse “for
the wages of sin is death, but the gift if God is eternal life thru Christ
Jesus our Lord.” Rom. 6:23. Now let e emphasize this verse, first of all what
are sins? Sins are things that we have done against God’s commandments. Such as
killing, stealing etc, for most of us, killing is the major sin, but not,
lying, disobedience, envy, lust, and just a simple act of taking just one coin
is considered a sin. Many of us are blinded with this
taught. Now, as it said in the verse there’s a “wage”, wage is the penalty we
could get for doing despicable manner. The penalty is death. Are you willing to
burn your soul in hell? But in the verse there is hope, there is a way to
overcome death, it is by receiving God’s gift, the eternal life. Of course, in
order to receive the gift we must believe in Jesus our Lord obey His will, do
what He wants and accept Him in our life. Therefore we will be able to enter
the kingdom of God without any falter here on earth. We will be able to
obliterate all the sins that we do because of our Lord Jesus. Now, the best
thing is to accept Jesus in order to achieve the eternal life.
