In NBA news

Center Dwaight “SUPERMAN” Howard agreed to sign again to a new team after another dominant year with the Lakers. But as we all know the team had high expectation because of the stars in that team like Point Guard soon to be hall of famer Steve Nash and Shooting Guard Kobe Bryant. Everyone agreed to the trade but as the season started everyone questioned the trade. As we all know the Laker franchise had no problem in a playoff spot but this year was different everyone questioned the players because they almost did not make it to the playoffs. Everybody blamed the coach but in my opinion it’s the team’s chemisty.
Dwaight Howard declined his extension with the Lakers so he went to look for another new team some team’s had an eye for him like the Dallas Mavericks and the Brooklyn Nets but he was afford an amazing with the rockets. On July, 6, 2013 he agreed to sign with the Houston Rockets. And his Statement on Twitter after his decision I've decided to become a member of the Houston Rockets. I feel its the best place for me and I am excited about joining the Rockets and I'm looking forward to a great season. I want to thank the fans in Los Angeles and wish them the best.”. Now with Shooting Guard all-star James “Beardsanity” Harden And Jeremy “Linsanity” Lin. In my opinion this might be a start of a play-off team with Dwaight’s defense under the paint and Harden’s and Lin’s scoring this might be the big break for the team and the franchise. We will see in this upcoming season. Catch their first game on October 5 2013 in the Toyota Center .

Family time

Family Time for me is very important specially nowadays that we’re too busy with our own schedules that we don’t have time to bond with each other, talk, play or just plain being together, a time where we would just chat and have fun. Family Time is also important because it is like your energy charger, your booster, mentally, spiritually & emotional. Some families that don’t have time together sometimes lead to broken homes and the worst, their kids straying from home.
For us one of the ways we do it is that every Sunday our Family would go to hear Mass. On the way to Church, my sister and I always insinuate that we wanted to eat at yellow cab after going to church. After Mass, we would always say something like “Papa gusto namin ng dilaw na baby bear/lion” or have a conversation like when my sister is wearing a yellow shirt she will ask what the color of her shirt is then ask what a baby bear or lion is called to our dad until he gets our point. Sometimes when he can’t take our pestering anymore, he will tell us to ask our mom to make us stop, but eventually they will agree to eat at yellow cab. We would drive to Imus where there is the nearest Yellow Cab. We would always order a Manhattan Meatlovers Pizza, Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta, Twice Baked Potato Halves and Hot Wings. After ordering our parents will go to our table. My Papa would always joke on whom will pay or whose allowance the bill will be deducted. Then my sister and I would point at each other. Then our order will come and we will all eat. Sometimes, I and my sister would scramble at the last piece of chicken. I was always the last one to finish.
After eating we just sit there for a while, we just talk about what has happened the past days and other stuff. It’s like our little family Sunday bonding time where we forget about everything else and just think about each other. That’s why I love to insist that we eat outside after the mass. Now, that’s what I call Family Time.

Filipino Food

This soup is also know as “Sopas” in Filipino. When someone is sick this dish is serve for them, aside from that this it is also serve as an Appetizer or Entrée. When the season is change to rainy days, it is serve in the family. It is also serve when there  is Birthday, Christmas and New Year. I prefer this than “Lugaw” A.K.A. Gruel. Because It has many ingredients than lugaw that has only, meat of the pork and Glutinous Rice(Sticky Rice).

“Pinakbet”
A Filipino mix vegetables, with shrimp or pork. This food together with rice is a well-known dish. Aside from this is “Adobo, Sinigang, Kare-Kare, Sisig” etc. This dish stands out for me because for the first time I've ate it when I was on second-year High School, it taste really delicious. This dish has more ingredients than other dishes, as I asked others in the internet, they much prefer to have other dishes. I just like it because it is much healtier and delicious.

“Pancit Malabon”
The dish originated in Malabon City, this dish is a afternoon food(Merienda). It is a noodles with eggs, shrimps and vegetables as a topings. Aside from “Pancit Malabon”, “Palabok” is also serve for afternoon food. It is healthy to eat this with lots of vegetables.

“Buko Pie”
Buko Pie (Coconut pie) is well known as a souvenir (pasalubong) in Laguna. It taste good when serve hot. It has been a war in Laguna to be selled out.

“Halo-Halo”
While enjoying out in the hot summer, Halo-Halo is always selled out, it is a refreshing mid-afternoon snack. Enjoying eating this desserts relieves our stress, and heat in the Philippines. For me, instead of eating ice cream, I prefer having halo-halo. It is fresh than ice cream that has preservatives.

The life of Bruce lee

First of all I want to tell you why did I choose this topicfor my blog? I choose this topic because I want to know what make Bruce lee a great fighter in martial art and moreover he is also my favourite fighter actor becausehe is very fast and strong in fighting. And my most favourite movie of Bruce lee is Fist of fury and Enter the dragon I also want to tell you short story of Bruce lee.

Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940, in San Francisco, California in both the hour and year of the Dragon. His father Lee Hoi Chuen, a Hong Kong opera singer, moved with his wife, Grace Ho, and three children to the United States in 1939; Hoi Chuen's fourth child, a son, was born while he was on tour in San Francisco. He was a child actor in Hong Kong who later returned to the U.S. and taught martial arts. He starred in the TV series The Green Hornet (1966-67) and became a major box office draw in The Chinese Connection and Fists of Fury. Shortly before the release of his film Enter the Dragon, he died at the age of 32 on July 20, 1973.He is best known for was a revered martial artist, actor and filmmaker known for movies like Fists of Fury and Enter the Dragon as well as the technique JeetKune Do.

Lee received the name "Bruce" from a nurse at his birthing hospital, and his family never used the name during his pre-school years. The future star appeared in his first film at the age of 3 months, when he served as the stand-in for an American baby inGolden Gate Girl (1941)

Lee signed a two-film contract, eventually bringing his family over to Hong Kong as well. Fists of Fury was released in late 1971, featuring Lee as a vengeful fighter chasing the villains who had killed his kung-fu master. Combining his smooth JeetKune Do athleticism with the high-energy theatrics of his performance in The Green Hornet, Lee was the charismatic center of the film, which set new box office records in Hong Kong.
Those records were broken by Lee's next film, The Chinese Connection (1972), which, like Fists of Fury, received poor reviews from critics when they were released in the U.S.
By the end of 1972, Lee was a major movie star in Asia. He had co-founded with Raymond Chow his own company, Concord Productions, and had released his first directorial feature, Return of the Dragon. Though he had not yet gained stardom in America, he was poised on the brink with his first major Hollywood project,Enter the Dragon.

Mysterious Death
On July 20, 1973, just one month before the premiere of Enter the Dragon, Bruce Lee died in Hong Kong, China, at the age of 32. The official cause of his sudden and utterly unexpected death was a brain edema, found in an autopsy to have been caused by a strange reaction to a prescription painkiller he was reportedly taking for a back injury. Controversy surrounded Lee's death from the beginning, as some claimed he had been murdered. There was also the belief that he might have been cursed, a conclusion driven by Lee's obsession with his own early death.

And there is some quotes of Bruce lee that you can learn from him "The martial arts are ultimately self-knowledge. A punch or a kick is not to knock the hell out of the guy in front, but to knock the hell out of your ego, your fear, or your hang-ups." And A fight is not won by one punch or kick. Either learn to endure or hire a bodyguard."
